Social Media Executive – Short-Form Video & Content Strategy
About the Role
We’re seeking a Social Media Executive who lives and breathes short-form video content. From Reels and YouTube Shorts to Stories and Status updates, you’ll shape our online presence with creative, platform-first videos that connect with audiences. If you thrive on trends, memes, and quick-turnaround content — this is your playground.
Key Responsibilities
Ideate, shoot (if needed), edit, and publish short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, Stories, Status) for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, WhatsApp, and Meta
Partner with marketing and product teams to convert concepts into snackable, high-performing content
Track emerging social media trends, viral memes, and trending audio to stay ahead of the curve
Manage platform-specific posting schedules and apply best practices for reach & engagement
Monitor performance analytics and optimize content for higher engagement and visibility
Interact with followers, respond to comments/DMs, and nurture community engagement
Collaborate with designers, creators, and product leads for brand-aligned storytelling
What We’re Looking For
0–2 years of experience in social media content creation (fresh graduates with strong portfolios are welcome)
Proficiency with tools like CapCut, Canva, VN, InShot, Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar editing software)
Strong grasp of vertical-first video formats, storytelling hooks, and platform algorithms
Excellent written English and creative copywriting skills
Bonus: Exposure to motion graphics, meme culture, or regional content adaptation
